If you know the hourly cost of ice at your rink of choice, please list it here:
Do you have a contact at the rink? If so, provide contact details Do you have a relationship with this contact? If so, please explain: Will your group set up the dates, ice schedule and other details with the rink, or would you like us to handle that? Will your group be responsible for paying the rink, or would you like us to handle that? (Normally we take care of this part, but you can do it, for instance, in the case where you as a local organization might get a better price on the ice.)
Describe the experience you are looking for. The more detail the better. If you have already attended one or more of our camps and are familiar with the program, describe how you would like your custom camp experience to differ from our standard camp. Proposed ice sessions (number and length of each) Off Ice Learning (offer a checklist of things like chalk talks, video review, stretching, etc.)
Please describe the ideal camp time frame with proposed dates and times/days of week.
Do you want social events? If so, what do you want? Will you plan them, or will we? Who will be responsible for the costs of the social events?
Will some or all of your group need lodging? Do you have any lodging suggestions for our staff and players from out of town?
Do you want this event closed to just members of your group? Or can we put this on our website and offer it to the public? (Note: If we open to the public, we would stay within the restrictions you dictate. As an example, if it’s a Women’s camp, we would only allow women in the camp. Also, this could be decided later. For instance, you might say now that you only want to offer it to your group. But after a while, if it is becoming clear that you are not going to have enough participants, we could open it to the public.)
If we decide to move forward with this camp, we will require a deposit from the group, as well as a commitment from the group to the total amount quoted for the camp. So as an example, using the $25,000 price tag, we might say we need a $5,000 deposit now (Maybe we offer a fully refundable period of 30 days for them to see if they get commitments), with a commitment to pay the remaining $20,000 in several payments between now and the start of camp. You may be thinking that getting 25 people will be easy, but our experience is that it most usually is not that easy to get a lot of people to commit money far in advance. Please offer any thoughts or comments you have on this that would be particular to your groups situation.
